Many Trade Shows postponed due to COVID-19

In light of concerns about and implications of the current international spread of COVID 19, the coronavirus, many tradeshows have decide to postpone their scheduled events.

At the beginning of the year, APPPEXPO announced it would be postponed and later in February they announced its new dates: July 21- 24. The FLAAR-REPORTS team looks forward to flying to impressive Shanghai in July.

LabelExpo South East Asia is another trade show that will postpone its exhibition dates. It was scheduled to take place at Bangkok’s International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) from May 7-9, 2020 and will now take place on September 10-12.

An additional exhibition that has been called off due to COVID-19 is SIGN and Digital UK 2020 (SDUK). It was organized to take place at the NEC from April 28- 30, 2020 and will now be held on March 2-4, 2021.

Another exhibition that announced its postponement this year was FESPA Global Print Expo 2020, European Sign Expo 2020 and Sportswear Pro 2020, originally scheduled in March 24-27. No new date is yet available.

The latest trade show to reschedule its exhibition dates is ISA SIGN Expo, to originally take place April 2-4, 2020. And will continue in the Orange County Convention Center in August 23- 25, 2020. The FLAAR-REPORTS team looks forward to flying to Orlando in August.

DRUPA is the latest trade show to be postponed this year, from June 16-26, 2020 to April 20-30, 2021

Photokina web site still claims that it will hold its expo in late May (in Cologne, Germany). But with Germany now “shut down for the next 30 days” it is unlikely that Photokina will be able to not postpone its dates.

We just have to wait and see how events develop in the next months, and how this will affect the rest of the wide-format industry trade shows and events.

In the meantime, the entire team of FLAAR-REPORTS are actively working from their home office.

We hope to see you at APPPEXPO in July, ISA in August, and expos in autumn.
