I have always enjoyed visiting ISA exhibition. The thousands of possibilities for both business and learning that one gets by visiting the trade show makes this exhibition an essential destination for those of us in the digital printing industry.
Who would have said that after 75 years since its foundation, this fair would continue to maintain its freshness and youth.
So many years in the field of the graphic industry have made this fair a destination coveted by both exhibitors and visitors.
The wide range of products that are exhibited at this fair make it a mandatory destination not only for the local market but also for all of Latin America. During this edition of ISA we were able to observe the growth of the Spanish-speaking people that attend the expo. It was so, that no two minutes passed without listening to someone speaking Spanish.
The reputation that ISA has gained throughout its 75 years has helped it cross the barrier of both language and borders. Many of the people we spoke with during the show came from different parts of Latin America (Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, etc).
Another reason why ISA has managed to stay current and attract more visitors is the wide range of courses and conferences offered during the fair, these are imparted by experts in the field and that already have many years in the graphic industry.
ISA not only focuses on wide-format printers (UV-curing, solvent, waterbased, and textile) it also covers other digital printing aspects such as finishing equipment (calendering machines, laminators, CNC routers, sewing machines, coaters, etc.) The wide-format range of equipment for signage, visual communications, textile, décor, is impressive, you can find anything you might need for every step of the printing process.
Another aspect that is important to showcase is the fact that ISA has a significant portion of the expo dedicated to screen-printing, a technology still strong even nowadays that digital has taken a significant share of the market and is growing at a steady pace.
If you are a small business there are also lots of things for you to see at ISA, many distributors and manufacturers focus on desktop, mid-size and equipment for small printshops or kiosks. Such as small t-shirt printers, toner printers not only for paper but also for transfer applications, many small printers for making customized or promotional items.
ISA is held during the first months of the year, when many products are being launched and the weather is nice, regardless where the expo is held, it is always sunny.
