April is a great month for Fujifilm North America Corporation, as during the Graphics Canada Expo, which will take place in Toronto from April 11 to 13, Fujifilm will launch its new line of large format printers with UV inks.
The Acuity Ultra Series, according to the official page of Fujifilm, the printers that will be available will be of 3.2 and 5 meters. Both printers use 3.5 picoliters, which means that the print quality competes with other printers of excellent quality also in the market.
Fujifilm has been characterized by selling inks for printers around the world, and this case is no exception. These new printers will be using the high performance Uvijet GS inks, which were designed specifically for the Acuity Ultra Series. One of the advantages of using this ink is that it is certified by UL GREENGUARD, the association in charge of certifying certain industrial products to really prove that they do not emit pollution or can contaminate the air inside certain places.
In the different printers of the series, material handling can be roll-to-roll or roll-to-core. This type of printers can print different materials, up to 2mm thick, which makes the range of material increased, in opposition to other brands.
We cannot yet draw conclusions and make print tests to measure whether the data provided by the company are true, however we are eager to see this new series of UV printers face to face during next trade shows along the year.
