New Mimaki UCJV300-160 Printer/Cutter

Mimaki USA introduced the UCJV300-160 a cutter and printer, with a dedicated roll-to-roll feeding mechanism and a 1.6-meter width. It offers an in-line cutting capability and may print with white ink to enable four-layer printing.

The UCJV Series is available in two models: the four-color UCJV150-160, and the UCJV300-160, which can print up to seven ink colors. UV-LED curing technology enables to print media including thin film substrates that may be too sensitive for latex or solvent high heat fixation systems.
Some of the applications it may print onto are:
• Backlit and day/night displays
• Signage
• Point-of-purchase displays
• Banners
• Posters
• Exhibition graphics
• Window clings
• Packaging
The UCJV300-160 roll-to-roll printer features an instant dry capability, reducing the time for production; it also handles a drop sizes from 7 to 28 picoliters, and a dynamic graphic that changes its image or color scheme depending on the light source.
