VANTAGE LED lamp managed by Flint Group

Flint Group  has always been working on the development of UV LED compatible ink technology, and by launching the new VANTAGE LED, it provides an additional benefit by using an EcoLUX LED lamps supplied by Air Motion System, which develop LED UV technology often applied in the sheet-fed offset industry.

Flint explains VANTAGE LED is fitted toward users of legacy UV methods and for those printers who have had no exposure to UV curing methods but are now investigating LED technologies. It is available for the sheet-fed commercial printers who want to offer faster improvements and expand the range of substrates, as well as existing UV curing printers looking to reduce their energy consumption.

UV LED for sheet-fed printers offer many benefits such as immediate drying, no more spray powder and oil-based or water-based cases so varnishes or coaters are no longer used for protection, resulting in material and energy cost savings.

Similar to the EFI “cool cure” LED technology, which is designed to magnify its ability to do more for less. Extending the range of supported substrates, including lower cost and added-value specialty media, with cool curing. It also has a greater color consistency with superior ink technology and longer lamp lifespan, more versatility and more uptime, for all energy efficiency of large and small format printing systems.
