Sawgrass launched a new variety of ink, which comes to extend the possibilities of digital printing, giving the sublimation decorators the capability with print in blue, orange, neon yellow and neon pink colors. The new SubliJet-HD “Expanded Gamut (XG)” and “Fluorescent (FL)” inks are designed for their Virtuoso 25″ 8-Color Product Decorating System (VJ-628 by Mutoh).

This new eight-color ink set adds blue, orange, fluorescent yellow and fluorescent pink cartridges to the SubliJet-HD C, M, Y, KXF, Lc and Lm configuration, providing a wider range of application possibilities with traditional CMYK inks.

SubliJet-HD FL provides a preconfigured color palette of 16 fluorescent colors that can be loaded directly into Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or CorelDRAW. It can also create new colors, applied and saved to the palette for quick spot color matching on frequently printed jobs.

Adding orange and blue to the C, M, Y, K, Lc, Lm configuration expands the gamut range of traditional CMYK. Decorators can now more easily acquire hard-to-match colors like reds, blues, purples and Pantone colors.

“This ink set was designed for product decorators who have color-critical applications, such as sports and corporate logos, school colors, flags and banners,”

Patrick McGinnis, Sawgrass’ Director of Product Marketing.
